QUESTIONS
When someone dies,
Or runs away,
With someone else's wife,
Or sodomizes the cat,
Pose as many questions,
Ask as many whys:
Feel hurt or shocked,
Plague the day,
Pummel your pillow,
Kick the furniture,
Wonder what they're at,
Shout out loud your cries:
But don't try to grope for answers,
Throw no stones,
Impute on no one stigma,
And just remember that
Life is but a process,
Whereby you are squeezed
Out of a c..t at one end,
And into a coffin at the other:
And its the little bit in the middle,
That's yours to make your mark in -
That's the real enigma:
You have one brief moment,
Brother!
